Artist Jodie Mitchell

The Answer is Art was founded by Jodie Mitchell after many years of working with her preferred medium: oils, acrylics 

and shedded snake skins. 

Primarily it was ancient Australian aboriginal  images linked to profound healing that inspired the creativity.

Early inspiration came from the Nyamal people in the North Western Pilbara of Australia where she was born and raised on huge sheep stations. 

Of much significance was Jodie's family property 'Yarrie' where these gentle people worked as stockmen, and station hands when Jodie was a child.

Eventually many of these people moved in to neighbouring towns, and away from the rich culture they sat with on the land.

My art is an honouring and tribute to the deep culture of these ancient people.
